With our innovative technology, we bring sustainability and efficiency to agriculture
For better use of resources, lower emissions and a more liveable future.
Challenges facing agriculture in Germany
95 %
of all ammonia emissions come from agriculture
28 %
Groundwater measuring points exceed the permissible nitrate value
50 %
More phosphorus available from organic residues than current demand
2.5 mio
tons of nitrogen fertilizer are applied annually
Sustainability meets efficiency
The NUNOS treatment technology is based on a purely biological process and is installed directly on farms as a stand-alone system. This means that cattle manure and fermentation residues can be processed directly on site.

The result: a low-viscosity, odourless liquid fertilizer with nutrients that are directly available to plants. This enables precise fertilization according to plant requirements and can be stored without loss thanks to chemically stable compounds. This considerably reduces ammonia and methane emissions during storage and application - a significant contribution to climate protection.
In addition, the liquid fertilizer opens up new recycling options for excess liquid manure. It can be used in greenhouses for special crops, ornamental plants and even in soilless cultivation.
As a spin-off of the German Aerospace Center, NUNOS builds on findings from space research to bring forward-looking solutions to agriculture. With our innovative approach, we are pursuing the goal of establishing regional nutrient cycles and making them more efficient - for a sustainable and resilient agriculture of tomorrow.
Simple integration into existing structures
Our fully automated processing plant can be seamlessly integrated into existing farm structures - directly in the barn or in front of your slurry storage facility. The system continuously processes the daily amount of cattle manure or fermentation residue and is designed to meet your individual requirements.
A major advantage: you can continue to use your existing storage facilities - there is no need to purchase additional storage capacity.

Vision & Mission
At NUNOS, we are committed to establishing regional nutrient cycles in agriculture and making them efficient. Our aim is to enable farmers to make the best possible use of their resources, strengthen their independence and protect the surrounding ecosystems at the same time. Together, we are shaping a sustainable and future-proof agriculture.
