Sustainability meets efficiency

The NUNOS treatment technology is based on a purely biological process and is installed directly on farms as a stand-alone system. This means that cattle manure and fermentation residues can be processed directly on site.

The result: a low-viscosity, odourless liquid fertilizer with nutrients that are directly available to plants. This enables precise fertilization according to plant requirements and can be stored without loss thanks to chemically stable compounds. This considerably reduces ammonia and methane emissions during storage and application - a significant contribution to climate protection.

In addition, the liquid fertilizer opens up new recycling options for excess liquid manure. It can be used in greenhouses for special crops, ornamental plants and even in soilless cultivation.

As a spin-off of the German Aerospace Center, NUNOS builds on findings from space research to bring forward-looking solutions to agriculture. With our innovative approach, we are pursuing the goal of establishing regional nutrient cycles and making them more efficient - for a sustainable and resilient agriculture of tomorrow.

Vision & Mission

At NUNOS, we are committed to establishing regional nutrient cycles in agriculture and making them efficient. Our aim is to enable farmers to make the best possible use of their resources, strengthen their independence and protect the surrounding ecosystems at the same time. Together, we are shaping a sustainable and future-proof agriculture.
